Talking Teachers - Inspiration on the path.
Just as we need a good teacher to learn any skill in the world, it is particularly important when pursuing a spiritual path. Inspiration is provided here in the form of life stories of masters past and present. This series also informs us how to build appropriate relationships with our spritual teachers. The student teacher relationship forms a fundamental part of Tantric practice, and guidance is offered on how and when to enter this particular Buddhist path.

'It is important, therefore, at the beginning, before making a Dharma connection with a teacher, to analyze that person well.'
Lama Zopa Rinpoche

'O monks and wise men, just as a goldsmith would test his gold by burning, cutting and rubbing it, so must you examine my words and accept them, not merely out of reverence for me.'
Shakyamuni Buddha

'The source of all my good is my kind Lama, my Lord,
Bless me first to see that taking myelf to him in the proper way
Is the root of the path, grant me then to serve and follow him
With all my strength and devotion.'
